On an unrelated note, I stumbled upon a nice pile of leaves hiding in my fender  . Not sure how common this is, but figured I would snap a pic and suggest that people take a look to see if they have something similar. Both sides were packed with leaves, but after quick work with a shop vac and long screw driver, it was all cleaned out.

Nice looking truck and awesome score on the All-Pro bumper. It looks much much better with a proper set of wheels and tires on there.

That location also loves to collect snow and ice, which creaks and crackles over bumps when the body flexes. It drives me batty. Maybe not an issue since you are in Sacramento, but for those of us in snowier places it is an annoyance.

Bars held up tent great

After several hours of driving, we made it to Crater Lake. Have to say it was pretty amazing. The clarity and hue of the water was spectacular.

Headed a little deeper into Oregon to check out Toeketee Falls and Watson Falls.

Hey Sacramento area neighbor! I'm a long time lurker that finally decided to create an account as well. I took almost the exact same pictures of crater lake and the falls from our trip there a couple of weeks ago. Small world. Build on your truck is looking good.

Thanks! I was up there a few weeks ago. Excellent weather, hope you enjoyed it as well!

Sounds like a potential for a rust nightmare.

The truck looks so much better with the new wheels/tires! Keep up the good work!

I had to clean out a ton of dirt out of that spot when I bought my truck. During the winter I make sure to spray it out with a pressure washer to keep the salt at bay. It seems like poor design IMHO.

I like the wheels and good score on the bumper, I like that it wraps around to add protection. I could've used that on the last trip when the fender and bumper got a little tweaked dropping off a ledge.
