Just trying to get a list together of what will be required to put the sterling under my van. It has the d60 now but with the Cummins that is now in it I’m concerned about it lasting if I add anymore power.
Looks like 05+ have a preferred width. Any tips on how to move spring perches and shock mounts? Id kind of like to get this done before adding the ujoint 6” lift this summer (just want to use the van again after converting trans to 4wd and adding t case). If I set it up for stock height now, will it be ready to accept the leaf blocks and larger shocks later?
Also interested in learning how to properly angle the axle relative to the t case output if I do need to move the perches etc.
Please let me know if you can think of something I’m missing. I’d rather more info than I need than miss something as it’s already been a chore working with the custom power train.
