Subaru brat

I picked this beauty up a few weeks ago on an impulse buy. Its an 85 Brat, has the 1.8 with 240,000 miles and a 4 speed with low range 4x4. It runs and it lot drives. engine doesnt sound real healthy but so far it hasnt failed to start and it isnt knockingg, though it does rattle a good bit. Has ALOT of bull**** to clean up and has major dents on basically every body panel however it is completely rust free. Quad fit sin the back, and for fun, it has the factory jumpseats too.

Also picked up a 95 legacy for $200 the other day. 2.2 5 speed awd. Plan is to eventually swap the 2.2 into the brat. In the mean time I will make a few minor repairs to it and daily drive it to make sure engine is a good donor.

Plans for the brat, 2.2 swap of course, but until then, I will fix a couple under hood issues to make it drivable so I can get it out on the road and see what it needs for sure, go through the interior and clean up all the wiring, etc.

Not planning a lift but I am planning some 195-75-14 mud tires, sliders, bumpers and a small atv winch. I heard tell some audi cars came with a selectable IRS dif that can be adapted into these things. I MIGHT look into that at some point

He was a subaru nut. Bought it and my legacy all in one shot.

His intentions sounded similar to mine
