The 4x4mods switches are not Carling switches, the faceplates won't transfer either. They do share the same cutout dimension (which is a standardized dimension for many brand switches). I've ordered several batches of switches from 4x4mods and they have showed up fine, too bad to hear that's not always the case.
Their switches do not have the quality feel of a Contura, I can't quite put it in words but they are different, almost a bit flimsy. I've used lots of Conturas over the years, used to get them from a local electrical supplier, then from Waytek, now from OTRATTW. Great service from both and wouldn't hesitate to recommend them.

Ditto on that. Not the same switch.
I've read plenty of threads over at ROF and JeepForum about orders being placed and switches never showing up.
Jim at www.otrattw.com is a standup guy, with excellent service.
