That's insane! I've read a couple travel books like Drive Nacho Drive and The Drive where they note it's the same in Machu Picchu. Just crazy lines. Kinda takes the fun out of it to me.

You’re right it is the people. We saw this at angels landing in Utah. Thousands of ya whos! More reason for us to get up early.

Had buddy who was there last fall. Not quite that bad...but I could see it happening real quick during the busy season.

Yeah it is us. When I go riding with 1 or 2 of my friends...no problem, but 1000's of people just like me show up, it is a chitshow.

Why I prefer National Forest over National Parks, often don't even see another soul the areas I frequent. But man, doesn't mean I wouldn't like to go see Yellowstone, Yosemite, Glacier, etc....just have to hit it off season, which is getting harder and harder to do.
