Ya my 01 tundra before this one had 80k on it and sold it with 150k. Couldn't find a truck around here with under 150k. And it would be some college kid that had it and ragged it out. So I opted for alittle more dough for a virgin truck. Gonna feel kinda bad cutting the rear best sides off. LOCKER IS ORDERED.

Tundra, Tacoma, Tacoma, Tundra.
I've owned several Toyota trucks since the early 80's. All have thier pros and very few cons.
I don't think I've ever left one of them completely stock. If your not carrying much with you, most year models probably do just fine left the way they come off the lot, for most people. Better mpg for sure. Once you start adding taller tires and heavy mods you can wave adios to your mpg. I never seem to leave anything alone, so I've got the disease alot of us here on ExPo have.......oh well.
My first Tundra was a 2000 DC (pic #1) that went over 200k before moving on. It was good off road, towed a boat well, but once my daughter was born the rear AC doors became a PIA.
On to an '08 Tacoma DC (pic #2) and a growing family. Great on tight trails, had an e-locker, but fairly useless bed for our purposes.
Next was a '10 Tacoma DC LB (pic #3) for the pupose of more space in the ATFP. Turning radius was pretty good for such a long wheelbase truck, uncomfortable seats on long drives, but pretty good truck off/on road.
Now I'm back to an '05 Tundra DC (pic #4). Very roomy, comfortable, and with more hp for the future Phoenix Pop Up camper. Once again, different needs.
This one by far, has the poorest turning radius. Pros and cons.......right?
