Taking young children off-road?

The only thing I would have liked would be some kind of neck roll he could use when he nodded off. I tried taking it easy, but ended up just stopping while he snoozed. Luckily we were in an area where the other guys were running around and I wasn't left behind.

I don't really have any action shots of my own truck, but here's some of the little guy at a rest stop.

The run was ok, but maybe a little too much chatting not enough driving for me. But for my first time it was good. Got some light pin striping on the top and one good rub on the back. Otherwise the truck did awesome. With nothing but a set of Cooper ST-C tires I kept up with all the local yokels in their modded trucks and M/T tires. Well, except for the silly "Hey y'all watch this!" stuff that I stayed out of. ;) There was one heavily modded IFS Zuk that tore a mounting ear off his transfer case early on and had to go easy from that point. Then a Champion winch burnt out getting him unstuck. And the whole thing did not adhere to "Tread Lightly" at all which I wasn't super happy about. But, it was all confined to a power line territory so not much loss. It'll probably all be paved over in a few years anyway since it's close to the city.

There's no doubt in my mind that the ETC and HDC on this truck, as well as really low low range really make this truck suitable for beginners.

The boots are cool!

Sounds like you are happy with the Disco. I like LWB vehicles, comfy ride although a SWB would be fun.

Unrealted to those comments, I don't like the look at me type stuff either.
