I have been slacking a bit on my own thread... my latest addition was about a month ago, and was a Warn Zeon 10S Platinum.
Install was fairly smooth... although I don't think it is fair of anyone to say this winch "fits" without this minor point: You pretty well have to cut your grille. The wireless control pack wires (yup), are jammed at a 90 degree angle right where they enter the plug. This has been a common failure point on any electronics I have ever owned, so I contacted Warn about it. They strongly recommended cutting a hole/notch/slot for the wires, which is what I did. I hate having a notch cut out of my grille, but it beats killing the winch. I also took the time to re-spray some areas of the AEV front bumper showing rust.
Even without the wire issue, the fit is super tight. For example, I screwed up in the pictures below. I installed the winch before re-installing the grille... this leaves no room for the grille to go back on. Despite that, the install was fairly straight forward. Instructions from AEV were excellent, as was the fitment of their product. I have come to expect this from AEV, and sometimes take it for granted. That said, I do think warn and AEV should communicate on this and note on their sites that cutting the grille is required for proper fitment of this winch.
All in all, I am very happy with the addition. I enjoy keeping a low profile with my Jeep, and appreciate the OEM appearance of the tubeless bumper, even with a winch installed. Most non-car people don't even realise that the Jeep is modified, which is perfect. The winch also pulls like a champ. Great line speed, and the new-fangled wireless remote is pretty awesome. Clutch control from the remote is a fantastic feature.
