Congrats, looks sweet!!:victory:

What lift is on it now and tire size?
Thanks I am in love. I believe the lift is an OME 4'', with 315 70 r17 tires. I think it is the perfect combo. I don't have any immediate plans to go any bigger.

Congratulations! I've been noticing your Taco for 60 posts and what not, I'm really glad this worked out!

Any info on the front seat covers? They look pretty good.

One of the best color combo's out there, IMO.

-Mike

Thanks Mike, I actually sold the taco on Craigslist, for a few hundred more than I had it listed for on here. That combined with the smokin deal I got on the LC (dare I say how much?) have me looking for an upgrade or two. I think sliders first.

Seat covers were already on there, I don't know about them. They are neoprene. They work for now.

Congrats! That's a great looking Cruiser. IMHO, the 80 series is probably the best looking body around. It's timeless and still looks great.

Seating for days!! Why buy a mini van when you can cruise around in style with seating for 7?!
...

If you're talking kids, yes, seating for seven. However, when the inlaws come to town and we all go in one car, we leave our 80 in the drive way and take the Sedona :)

I took one of the rear seats out of ours, built a frame to hold it w/casters on the bottom, and now have the coolest garage chair!

Great looking LC!

Looks like a great truck. Is that a CE or 40th Anni? I don't recognize the paint scheme... Maybe it's not factory? Maybe I'm ignorant. :)

Nope, it's one of the two tone schemes that was offered from 95-97.

Desert Dune/Moonglow (2AB)

I've got the other Land Cruiser two tone that was offered from 95-97, (2AC) :)

Sweet 80 mate, that's a pretty awesome "starting point" aye... color me jealus cause lately I've been thinking that a Cruiser might just meet my needs more then my 1st gen 4Runner... This is the kind of 80 I'd like to get into although I may be looking for an FZJ instead (am I wrong or is that an FJ??? I was thinking it was because I thought it was from the right year, but if it's an FZJ so much the better.) but still this is so awesome looking. I love the whell/tire combo and the colo scheme on it. Don't know if I missed it or anything, but does it have the Lockers in it???

Cheers

This is an unlocked FZJ, if I've observed correctly.

Thanks, I love it! It has been great so far. I looked at first gen runners for a while and liked them, but the 80 just was so much...... more? I love the interior room and all the creature comforts it offers. I had a 22re in highschool, and dont think I could go that small again. This is indeed the FZJ model, I think it switched in 95? Last but not least, it is unlocked. But hopefully one day that will change. Ill do a rear ARB first.
