The ice road...
The tour company. My mom wanted to use a tour company. They picked us up a in a quad cab Ram, (not the newer bigger one, the older small one) the back seat was covered in cracker crumbs, it smelled bad, etc. Not a $200 a head tour vehicle, but clearly a bush/work truck. The driver brought a friend, so the three of us, my mom, sister and me, with all out cold weather gear and bags squished in the back. The two operators never introduced themselves... we kept calling the driver the wrong name, since we thought he was the tour owner. We asked questions and all we got was one and two word answers. This was my mom's desire, my legs were cramping, but I sat through it until she said, I can't do this, turn around.... she agreed that she should have just let me rent a truck (I offered) since you can't really get lost.... out and back right ; ) This is why I don't do commercial vacations ; )
