I like it Valkyrie! Is that a factory color on your truck?

As far as suspension goes, I have Toytec add-a-leafs and bilstein 5100 shocks. I'm thinking about getting some of the OME dakar springs, they seem decent for a reasonable price.

Valkyrie - are using the crossbars from canback to mount your roof rack or another kind? Im thinking about getting the megamule bajarack for my canback but I really don't want to spend 150 per crossbar to mount the rack. I don't know if any other kind will work or not though.

Dakars are a good chice indeed. This color is an old Toyota color called Dune Beige- used on 75-79 FJ40's.

It is actually our local TLCA club's "official" color, here's another truck with the same scheme. ;)

Actually, a buddy fabbed up the crossbars and basket mount for me. He built a framework out of round tubing that is welded to the crossbars and has tabs welded to it so that the basket can be unbolted to accommodate the occasional plywood or canoe transport.

Hard and soft shell Tacos. Both look real nice. I like the lights on Youngunner's and like the open utility on Chris'. Nice job guys.

Nice jobs, I was think about doing the outside rack thing, my welder has been trying for a while to convince this is the way to go, so now I am convinced. I guess it's time to start a build tread. Just have research racks to see what will work for me, oh well more computer time window shopping.....

Thanks for the pictures.

I really like the can back. I kick myself for not getting the lift open windows on the shell at least, it's a real pain to get all the way back into the bed. They want $400 per window assembly:Wow1:

Here is the summer time set-up. I'm going to make a canvas/sunbrella top for the rack underneath the bajarack (if that makes any sense).
