I want to do LED tail light boxes, the tire carrier covers a lot of the tails and the reverse lights. Looks pretty good though. Got the rotopax mounts painted and mounted, and the hi-lift mount as well.

Your build is very refreshing to me! Seems everyone is so focused on building the new(er) JK and forgets about the great "older" platforms!

I've build my fair share of XJ's but I like your approach and the current progress so far.

I agree with KLT88YJ on the JK thing. On my third XJ and absolutely love this rigs. Just setting back and taking it all in. :lurk: The bumper looks good.

Bumper is the JCR Vanguard with the adventure carrier. It has rotopax mounts, CB mount, hi-lift mount, and tire mount. It's a stout bumper.

The seats are Rugged Ridge Ultra HD Spice.

Took my wife and kids down a nice easy trail for mother's day. They had a good time. Here are some pics. Oh yea, goofy *** dog too.

So haven't updated here in a while.

Axle stuff has just been sitting.

I finally got around to having them welded up, they're sand blasted and ready for work to get done on them. Stuff will be getting installed shortly and then they'll be painted and installed.
