There is nothing to do on the East Coast report....

We had more friends arrive while we were on the river, Haggis and his clan from PA. So much BSing, and reminiscing made me forget afternoon photography.

We had planned another float for Thursday. We launched at St. George bridge and floated to Hannahsville. Another wonderful day on the river.

It was a beautiful misty morning.

This section of river was fun too, it's all class one and two so nothing too serious - fits our group well

We found an old truck. Decided it was a Ford, but it's so hard to tell as mangled as it is.

Jay and I talked tires (of course) and agreed that neither of us had heard about Runabouts

We swam and floated and made our way down river as it rained then not rained then poured

DEER!

It rained so hard that I couldn't open my eyes from the water splashing up from the river

It was a great float, but we had to get back to camp, pack and move the crew south to our next site down by Spruce Knob. Tear down, driving, gassing up, and setting up camp took away the rest of the day. We had an after dark potluck dinner with some wonderful pulled pork, Jay's dip, and a fresh apple pie. Good friends and good food make every trip more enjoyable.
