Threads in the end of CV shaft?

What are the specs threads in the end of a DI front CV shaft?
It is not a 1/2" or 7/16 SAE thread or a M10 or m12.
Rave says to check end play by installing a bolt and pulling/pushing, but I can't find the right bolt.

I found a website in England that says 7/16-18BSF(British Standard Fine). SAE threads are 7/16-14 or 7/16-20 per inch......

there are actually two different threads in them. Some have 10mm 1.25 pitch and some are 3/8 BS.

I can almost always get one of the flange bolts to thread in enough to pull on the shaft to tap the flange into place.

If you get something close you can just hold it at an angle to pull it in and out to check end play. I've never had a flange that was so tight I couldn't get the stub axle to move back and forth.

the ones that are tight are the stock ones on trucks that have never off-roaded. The ones on my wifes RRC are so tight they need to be tapped pretty good to slide onto the splines.
