A word of caution: even factory 4 wheel disc are not that great.

I agree. I wouldn't expect any braking improvement by converting the rear to discs. When I went from stock sized tires to 35s, the stock brakes became a big problem with emergency stops. I installed the vanco super 16" brakes on the front and black magic pads on the rear and the improvement was incredible. The price was well worth the added safety on the street. IMO, upgraded brakes should be considered a top priority, especially for a travel vehicle.

Thanks! That was going down Black Bear pass near Telluride, Colorado. The entire area of Colorado is amazing and worth the trip, especially if you've never been!

35's, 3" springs. ... we ran stock fender location for a short while, but i dont reccomend it. Not enough clearance with available uptravel unless you limit it with bumpstop extensions.
