Well guys finally got around to it after getting my 200 back in June of this year (2016) and have slowly (or not so slowly) started my build.

Toyota Land Cruiser 2015.

This isn't my first rodeo though as I've have built a couple 4runners and other cars throughout the years but finally graduated to the big boy league (I think?)

Here is my last rig (sold) .... "TomasAllan's Build Thread"

Here is how I got it, and will start posting progress as time allows.

"The day of...."

ScanGauge II...

Is it normal for the trans to hit 212f to 235f on these things? I remember as soon as my 4Runner started climbing to those numbers (mostly due to weight and slightly larger tires) I installed an aux trans cooler, temps lived in the 170's after that.

Headlights (low and hi beams) switched to OSRAM (I believe 5500) and hi-beam to LED matching the color temps..

Time for Tires and Wheels, went with Enkey 18x8 (5x150) and Nitto Terra Grapplers G2...... 285/65 R18

Tried (actually ran them) the Cooper Discoverer AT3's and loved them except that the shop couldn't get them balanced right, so went to Nitto. (found out after a while their machines were out of wack)..... would have stayed with the coopers :( such a nicer ride, next time I guess.

More toys ICON Stage II, OME 2720 ..... had gone OME 2722 originally on the rear but the LC was sitting too high for my taste and rode too stiff, also wouldn't go in the garage which is a no no for me.

Also, Total Chaos UCA's.

Used some trim packers on the rear to give it a nicer stance.

Then a little something got on the way..... :-\ you'd think this was taken into consideration.... some holes didn't align and others that were supposed to be threaded weren't, older 200's must be a bit different I guess?

Got this puppy but haven't installed them yet, when I first lifted (I mentioned before) it was sitting too high for my taste so I ordered this to drop the diff (Drop Diff Kit from Marks4WD AUS) as I had on my previous 4Runner.... but then I lowered by using the 2720's and dropped the coilvers up front so I am not sure I need it anymore...... I guess it wouldn't hurt.

Ran the wires through the windshield channels one side for lightbar and the other side for rear lights, grounded the rack itself to a bolt on the rear hatch.

Time for a quick plug, I have to give a shout to my buddy Steven Landy (Atlanta Mobile Lube) for doing these installs with me, his attention to detail on anything he does whether is mechanical or electrical is beyond anal ... lol. I've worked with him on cars for a couple years and I can tell you folks here in ATLANTA, I will not take my car anywhere else, for anything. (all these installs both in my 4Runners and now my LC have been done there).

A little something I did on the rear hatch :)

Lord knows its needed on the LC (not sure why Toyota didn't think about this)

Yeah I know I need a prettier switch but that's what I had to work with at the time.

Ran it through the grummet on the hatch, down on driver side panel. Also I did run power through the driver side on the door still (straight from the batt - fused) to run my ARB Fridge. So I tapped into that same power line for this light.

Off: (with all LED's on inside)

This castrol super clean stuff is AWESOME for engine bay cleaning (65% water 35% super clean mix on a spray bottle.... rinse with water before and after)

No wiping or anything, just rinse cold (or at least not super hot) engine bay, then spray this stuff all around and give it a few seconds (20 maybe) then rinse it off...... watch the grime and oil disappear.... might take a couple applications.

Leave only for a few seconds (under a minute).
