Toyota Trailer

If you do a search for the user "Landpimp" on Ih8mud he has a couple of those Toyota trailers. The handbrake in the tongue was a very cool feature.

Are you sure about that? I don't think Landpimp has one let alone 2. The only one in the country that I know of is owned by Marv Spectre of Specter Off Road and I have seen it in person in his museum.

They are extremely rare.

Ditto & ditto, one of the coolest things he has. Well thats not an actual Land Cruiser that is :D

Landpimp had copies of the same advertisement on the link you posted, same one I have here too. He also had a couple of other photos as I recall, I very well might have saved them somewhere. Owning a Toyota would be the holy grail of the Land Cruiser world :D

Sorry for the hijack. :sombrero:

As masterplumber pointed out I would highly recommend making your tongue in a fashion that allows as much "jack knifing" as possible. I suppose its all relative to the trails you intend to take it on but I can't count the number of times I've really had to maneuver my trailer out of tight spots over the last 5 years. Well worth the added fabbing or minor cost/time during the initial build IMO. That said a lounge box would be extremely useful, its all about tradeoffs.

I agree the box would really be nice for putting a few deep cycles and misc trail tools.
I spent the day making the body mounts to mount the bed to the frame I will post some pics soon.

Maybe I'm wrong (Wouldn't be the first time), but I thought I read that he had two.

Okay Im starting to get all the wiring hooked up but I ran into a little problem that hopefully someone can help me with. The toyota truck bed has amber turn signals, Does anyone know of a way to separate the brake from the turn signal .
