Trade for decent 80 series?

SON OF A .... man you stole that one! Even if it has 250K on the clock, if you got even a few oil change records, that's worth it!

LOL yep she has 229k miles, head gasket jobs been done prior to purchase. I just had a full tune up done along with the new rear end installed. Going to pick her up from the shop Thursday, will have better pictures soon.

I think most will agree that the 94 80 was the "best" one for some of the following reasons...

1. 1fz-e (4.5l) engine
2. "Toyota" Grill (switched to the bean wearing the sumbrero in 95)
3. Last year without airbags and ABS
4. Lockers available
5. Last year with the a442f tranny which is said to be stronger than the a343f in the 95-97

There are people who swear by the 3fe engine (91&92) becuase of its reliablity and simplicity (i have one and love it) but you will find the majority of people want the newer 1fz-e engine becuase of the extra power (but it had a few more problems). Also the 91 &92 had the a440f auto tranny which was fully hydro and had a lockup torqu convertor which was said to be better than the later a442f (93-94) and much stronger than the a343f (95-97)
