Great Pics and report! We lived in Bishop for about 4 years when I was a kid. My earliest childhood memory is camping at Bodie when I was 3 years old (back when they allowed camping!) In fact, looking at that "gas station" picture, I have an picture of that old truck before they restored it.

Awesome! Classic look, too, the photo! I recognized the name Bodie, because about two years ago, during my recovery from serious facial surgery, I spent the time surfing, and I got interested in ghost towns across the US. GO HERE;
