The time mine wouldn't engage in 4W LO I was at Windrock as well......mine ended up being a cracked low range gear in the t-case.......then there was the broken front pinion shaft, pretzeled rear drive shaft, broken mirror, crushed fender.....I'm pretty sure Windrock hates Tundras![]()
I think in your situation, the trail you were on was probably a bit more on the double black diamond rating to have that much damage.
Bamagirl, I had the same issue with 4Lo. Multiple times, I disassembled the actuator and greased up the contact points and internal moving parts. The actuators are definitely not the best working system. Which is why I swapped it out for a manual transfer case. No more push button for me.
