The above i'd stay away from on an XJ.. unless you source the ZJ style cam bolts to be able to retain the caster adjustment. A regular through bolt will be able to slide in the ovaled mounting hole.

The option of the adjustability is interesting though..wouldnt have to drop an arm for a slight length change.

Asking again: Anyone have a ball park idea of what would be a fair price to have a local welder cut off my old brackets and install the new HD LCA brackets and skids? This would be on the truck - drive up and drop off...


I would expect to pay in the area of $200 minimum if they calc it as an hourly job at a facility. Local Jeeper/Buddy with a welder might do it as low as a few colds ones and lunch.

If you were to carry in with the OE brackets removed and tube cleaned up and marked for the new parts.. i'd expect you would save a few $$.
