What are these things?? There were about 20 of them, looks like they are starting to fall apart.

I like the pics and it looks like a fun outing for you guys.
Just goes to show even quick jaunts can get you remote.

What are these things?? There were about 20 of them, looks like they are starting to fall apart.

Maybe archeological test digs? :confused:

I have seen small areas like that fenced off here in CO. The college (CSU I believe) uses them to see what type of damage grazing does to the land. They fence off a small area in an open range area that is being used to graze cattle then they can compare the fenced off area to the surrounding area to see what, if any damage is being done to the land.
