Unimog Camper ALERT

I think 4Rescue is referring to the McCain U500 Doka; it was probably sold through Freightliner like most U500s. It had been for sale on ebay a year or two ago and disappeared before the sale ended when the price was somewhere around 100K. Anybody know what ever happened to it, very sweet looking rig?

And people who own U500s are breaking what kind of law?
It irritates me to see even a bit of class warfare rhetoric on this forum.
In fact it is quite insulting.

Charlie, I thought we only had "Claas" warfare with our mogs.
Are you heading back to the U.S. anytime soon? I haven't seen a pile of photos yet.
Be safe,

I hope Charlie is still in the US at the moment, I know they are coming out here in Feb, but they may want to wait a bit to see how much of Queensland is left after Cyclone Yasi has passed through.

dzzz

That would be scary top heavy on a super duty

It just takes some wheel wells to get the camper lower. I assume that's what Earthroamer does.

But it is true that on a pickup a camper set entirely above the wheels is too high.
