Unimog Expedition

I have wanted to buy a Unimog for a while and use it to travel the country :safari-rig: I have had several ideas for what I want but I need some help. First off where is a reputable dealer near Texas to purchase a Unimog? I found one that looks good: http://www.tawd.com/used/index.html Then I started to think about how I would use the rear end of the Unimog cabin wise. Also I only want a single cab. Well I have been scanning and looking through every forum and picture looking for ideas and those huge cabins at the back are way more then I would need. Also it would be too tall for my liking. I just don't need a shower, microwave, ect. I finally stumbled upon something good and useful. The pictures below shows a hardtop camper for the back of the truck. I like the hardtop because if I want to go to Snowy conditions I won't have to worry about a soft shell pop up getting ripped or weighed down, (plus more security against bears :ylsmoke: ) My second thought is where is a reputable builder of such cabins, because I'm not sure I would want to the local fabricator making such a thing. Any help is greatly appreciated, take care

Or maybe not a mog...

EDIT: Here's another dealer. There are quite a few who can get Mogs shipped in from overseas:

EDIT AGAIN: Here's one in Germany who can source a Mog for you, fix it up and then ship it to you:

Exactly what I was looking for! $600 for the camper sounds great to me instead of spending alot of money on a custom cab. Also means I can get a bigger mog, probably a 1300. Thank you thank you thank you! Take care!
