Here's my addition to the pics.

From start to finish, and from the rear of the pack.

These pictures are rather large, and you can click on the picture in the frame to enlarge it. It gives options x2, x3, etc. "O" is Original, and largest.

No restrictions, you should all be able to save any that you like.

Kristian and Jason did a stellar job. I believe their hard work paid off.

Hope you all enjoy the pics as much as Myra and I enjoyed taking them:

Tom, wow, those shots are amazing, thanks for sharing. The pics with water in them are so vivid that they almost look fake. This one is great too, looks like those drum brakes worked just fine coming down Mt Houghton, hahaha

What a great weekend. Great trails, great people and great organization. Stacey and I want to thank all of you for making our weekend as great as it was. We took our time getting back here to Kenosha and will be downloading our pix and videos for public access and downloading.

Wow- some amazing, amazing pictures! Especially the set on Brockaway mountain. And the Eco Roamer is HUGE !
Kristian and Jason- Kudos for organizing this-it has to become an annual Expo event; you guys have let the cat out of the bag, as it were, with what the UP has to offer.
Despite my best efforts, I could not get out of call- too many senior physicians on vacation ,and I have to be content with being low on the totem pole...yet again...for now....
Anyway it looks like the weather was beautiful and everybody had a blast.
Keep the pictures coming!

This weekend was awesome. Claire and I had a blast. We honestly had no idea we could have so much fun out here. We both can't wait for round two. We were driving home today just going over the places we had been and things we'd seen. It was all so different and cool at the same time.

One thing noticed is the breeze off the water. It's not an ocean breeze but it's close. There's no salt in the air. Also, the sun light is different up that far in latitude. I totally dug it.

I'm gonna put our pics on www.sdori.com soon. Maybe tonight, not sure.

I would love to do this again and stay out longer. We learned a lot about what you need to be away from civilazation for multiple days and want to do it more.

This trip left me wanting two things. One, I want to get back to the UP again. Two, I want an 80 series Land Cruiser.

For anyone who has ever presumed to judge Michigan's level of desirability as a travel destination based solely upon time spent in the major metro areas of the state (Detroit, Ann Arbor, Lansing, Grand Rapids, Kalamazoo/Battle Creek), this trip confirms that there is far more interesting stuff to see when you venture north! The curious part is that the roads in northern Michigan are far, far nicer than the ones in the cities, too.

For our organizers, my sincere thanks for a wonderful introduction to a part of the state that I have failed to fully investigate, despite having spent the past 29 years living in Michigan. You guys have made me see the error in my ways, and in spite of the drive, I'll definitely be back up before too long!

After setting up the tent, dinner consisted of blackened salmon with sautéed onions, green peppers, and tomatoes.

How could I forget to add, thanks to Jason and Kristian. Getting all the trucks together and leading this trek is incredible. You guys must have worked your butts off prerunning this event. If you hadn't put this together I know Claire and I would have any idea what we would have been missing. You guys deserve much thanks.

Nice shots and video! I really love those morning shots at camp. Oh, and the comparison shot of your rig and the Eco Roamer, Jay's out-campered you by just a smidge. :D

Great trip. Thanks to Kristian and Jason for planning.

The trails were rougher than I had imagined, but it sure did give me the opportunity to make sure my trailer would hold together. With the only damage being my small handled sledge pounding the floor out.

Kristian, I agree. The sunrise Sunday morning was perfect.

We made it to ST Ignace 11:30 sunday night and camped out at the truck stop before getting on the bridge. From there we headed to Silver Lake sand dunes for the day. What a beautiful place and the perfect day.

I dont have many trip pics. Most are blurry from my antiquated 2mp camera.

EDIT: Our round trip mileage was 1300 and some change.
