Been slow going with my injured back and all. Got some ac hoses in today so I can get her recharged. Also mounted the stove and fridge today.

Seriously amazing MJ. It's so simple, but just perfect in every way. I am a big fan of your rig man.

Thanks man, coming up will be winch install, rock guards, and a lot more work on the bed and interior of the nest. Considering having a friend sew me a new nest. Her company can get the material and she knows how to handle the project. If I ever do another truck it will be a four door yota with a flip pak, but I wanted this truck to be era specific so the wildernest was found and here I am with the project.

I am also considering going back to 255-85-16 tires and new wheels that will allow me to get rid of the wheel spacers. The moabs have way too much back spacing and suck that tire in too far. I'm thinking about a powder coated "gambler" style(five large hole). At the same time I'm going to upgrade the axles with 4:88s air lockers and rebuild seal and all the bearings as well.

Any other ideas from you guys?

Truck looks great. Can you post some pics of the interior of the truck be when the "nest" is popped up and when it is closed? Very cool indeed.

Gonna try going simple at first. Toolbox at the front, then house battery and engel on a jk double slide on right side.
On the left will be two action packers, and to the rear of them will be my road box with jumper cables, chains, winch controls, and tire changing equipment, etc

Status update

Ok, between dealing with my back injury, and playing and working on my scout and this Comanche, progress has been slow. I went to Deaver, and left after ordering a custom set of rear springs to address the sag after changing this build to a true overland vehicle. I also installed the 9.5 CTI Warn winch, and am slowly tackling some more electrical upgrades for future improvements.
