I don't have those particular lights. However, I have their LED lights - 32" Xmitter bar to be exact. It blows away the 7" HID's I have. Honestly I have yet to see anything that compares to their LED's (LightForce prodcuts included).

Just guessing here, but based on the quality of the products I have purchased from them I think you'd be satisfied. They have great customer service so feel free to call visionx directly if you have questions or concerns.

No experience with those particular lights, but Vision X makes a supurb product. I'd be willing to take the chance.

I went from Lightforce 170's (even tried the LF HID kit) to the VisionX Solstice LED (15-unit array): No compare. No filament vibe; almost no striations in the pattern...just pure broad coverage/wash very intense bright light.

Did I mention they are bright? :coffeedrink:

Yes they are indeed bright. I am probably going to add a Visionx 34" Reflex Bar (15,000) Lumens) with spot beams to my roof rack and add a 32" Xmitter double stack (21,000 Lumens) to the front bumper. Current 32" xmitter bar I have will be moved to the rear of the FJ to deal with those who like to drive right behind me with their highbeams.

By far the best lights I've ever owned. So much so I'll be ditching my HID lights on the front bumper.

We run the VisionX 6500HID's and they work great. No problems after 2 years of use. We don't go on a night run every week, but they've always worked well and very bright. When you turn them off its like driving with candle power for headlights.

Yes. All spot filters except at each end and middle where I have the flood filter installed. BTW: You can easily change the beam pattern by switching out the front focusing filter.

Is that the reason you didn't just get a xmitter bar?

going off the feedback here, I will take a much harder look into these in the future. What is the most cost effective light to use for floods on three sides like WEEZERBOT? the ones he is using are about $225.00 at the vision X superstore. Thanks for the input guys, I can't wait to replace my PIAA's.

Dan and I went through a lot to try and find him the right lights that suit his driving. After a call with some of guys at Vision X, he was able to give them a try and was able to finally find a light to suit his driving style. The Xmitter bar was too limited, and this set up offered more versatility than the bar.

You might want to look into the Rigid Industries Bars as well. They offer some great products.

As Wil stated the Solstice gave me more options; is more versatile especially if I want to add/subtract they are just plug and play so to speak. And the Solstice represents VisionX's latest technology.

Spress, you see the new bars they have that are the same high power solstice LEDs but all in one simple housing? I think you need to upgrade to that and drop off the ones you have now up the street ;)
