Weber Charcoal Grill Transport/Storage

Seems like moving it for less than a couple week's stay would be an exercise in frustration. I'd look into a Bodum Fyrkat, original [ame="http://www.amazon.com/dp/B0000SW0UU/ref=asc_df_B0000SW0UU1513599?smid=ATVPDKIKX0DER&tag=pg-1146-17-20&linkCode=asn&creative=395093&creativeASIN=B0000SW0UU"]Hibachi[/ame] or a BGE Mini ([ame]http://www.biggreenegg.com/eggs_MINI.html[/ame]) if you're feeling spendy.

Moving a Silver would be easier than moving a Gold. I'd think you'd want to clean a silver out pretty well and disassemble it. No reason it couldn't go on a roof rack with a snug net over it.

I do have a silver and its not to bad to dissamble it but with the legs and lid and two grilles ect ect it becomes a pain in the a**. I really like the look of the Bodum Fyrkat but for tailgating and such I like to bring a weber or two for meat and my camp chef explorer for a stove.

I bought a "Toolbox" bbq to solve the transport porblems. Fits on the rack nice and locks to keep the lid closed.
