What did you do to your Expo Jeep today?

Your lifted lady

The lift and the tire change simply makes your rig appear more appropriate. Jeep ought to do this in the first place, or at least make it an option. :)

Good looking rig.

Did this. :D My "Buddies" named my rig a few years back. It stuck. Anodized aluminum.

In process of trimming fenders with a cheapo HF compressor...damn thing. Its taking forever. I think its time for a new compressor. Tonight I will get some pics up since I get a new cheapo digi cam on black friday.

Went camping with the kiddo. Weather is finally cooling down a little. Still a little warm, but it's getting there.

It's been a change in packing since selling the Excursion. Before, it was carte blanche as to what I would bring. Getting the JK has made me trim down my gear to only what's needed. My camp/cooking box went from a big Plano trunk to a small 8gal Action Packer. It's been nice to downsize.

Did a full brake job on my 2001 XJ. Has anyone ever seen brake shoes that look like this?! The drums had a matching raised groove in them. The shoes I picked up from NAPA did not have this groove....so now I have to buy new drums as well. I have never seen shoes like this and neither had any of the local NAPA boys....curious if anyone has seen something like this before.

I have! My 2001 2WD has the exact same problem! I don't know if it came that way or not but it sure looks fishy! And both sides are exactly the same way... I thought I was the only one! Let me see if I have pics when I discovered it...

Yup... here they are. Funny thing is I just cleaned them and was pissed since it meant I'd have to order new ones. When I took it through our vehicle inspections here, the guy said they were not working. I had him "ride" the brakes a bit and then it was good enough to pass...go figure!?!

Working on clearing the windshield visibility more; moved trail/rock cameras monitor to dash level, from rearview mirrow, and removed useless rearview mirror.* Much better.

Took off my hard top. I think it's permanently off. Now I just need fix the stripped windshield holes with some rivnuts before the wind pulls the rest of the header channel bar out. Driving around with no top is fun at 40 degrees though lol.
