Thanks Viper! Price was 800.00 installed. 740.00 for the tires and 65.00 to install.

I ordered them from Discount Tire on ebay. Ebay has a promo right now, think it ends tomorrow, where you can save 200.00 off of an 800.00+ set of tires.

I will check your PM. Sorry been away for a week or so...

Thanks
Craig

Thank you! I am thinking painting a red stripe on the wheels in the indentation next to the wheel rim... Feedback?

By the way, that is in direct sunlight. With a bit of shadow or the wheel upright, they look darker and much better... I think that the metallic flake on the finish make it that bright under direct light. Right now they are stored in my garage, and boy, do they look pretty!!! ;)

They look good congrats! Which vehicle they come off of? Or is it a particular model wheel? They almost look familiar.

They are a Gen 1 wheelset... they are original Montero wheels, and they are to be installed in my Gen2.

The main thing I've done recently was fixing a loose wiring issue that caused alternator whine on the radio. (finally!) Next up is doing a full oil change.

Have the same symptom on mine (whine through the radio), not sure where to start looking?

Replaced upper and lower balljoints, inner and outer tie rods ends, idler and pitman arms. And might I say ******** the pitman arm, that thing was a PITA to get off the steering box...

Nice how does it drive before/after? OEM parts?

Getting it aligned tomorrow (toe is off so it wanders a bit at speed right now) but the steering feel is much improved. There was a large dead spot in the steering between 10 and 2 that is all but gone now. I used all Moog parts but they were all "555" brand and made in Japan. Quality on them looked good, but I did flush the grease that they came with out of the boots when I installed them as I didn't like the look (or feel) of what was in there. Boots themselves looked good and had a decent thickness to them (I couldn't really compare to the OEM ones as they were all trashed) so we'll see how they do.
