what new diesel do you trust? going gasser?

well, to throw this in the mix,

some one has approached me about buying my dodge,

$8-9000 would sure make a nice down on a newer ford...

Im not sure how i feel about selling the dodge, it isn't really suiting my needs right now. Because its a hassle with 2 car seats in the extended cab we always take the Cherokee, that is also too small. My front axle needs $500 worth of rotors/unit bearings and my pinion bearings are shot, so i basically have no 4x until i drop some $ into it, hence i havn't taken it in the dirt in almost a year.

My biggest problem with new diesels is that the maintenance (oil, air, fuel) is so damn expensive while getting the same mpg from a gas engine. And gas engines can still do 200k mikes without much issue.

I would go gas on my next truck. I have an 02 f350 7.3, probably the last diesel I will own. but if I was looking for another ford it would be an 8-10
f250/350 V10.
