Newbie here, so just a bit about my self. I am on my forth Jeep, the first was a 1978 Wagoneer, the next on was a 1998 jeep wrangler sport, and then a 2010 wrangler sport. My wife and I traded in that and her car to down size to our current daily driver/boat tractor a Wrangler JKU sport, we call it Gamin. We would like to add to its utility resume.
So I got to look'n and we quickly decided on a RTT (an ARB Simpson III is the list topper to date). Where I am stuck (I get the power to decide this on) is which rack should I get. I do not like the over the top type as it looks to be a royal pain taking off the top when I want to. I also have a 7 foot tall garage door (yes the RTT will come off in the driveway). I kinda like the station wagon look of the teraflex Nebo, I also like the low form look the rhino rack backbone. The teraflex two in-line bars can accept lot of the cross member bars (thule/yakima) accessories and the RTT. So canoe, bikes, lumber and just about anything else under 200 lbs should be a go. Same goes for the rhino rack 3 bar. Though when we don't need to be hauling anything, the rhino rack bars can be removed.
So back to my title, what would I be giving up, if I were to go with the teraflex, it costs just over $500.00 vs the $725.00 dealer price for the rhino rack.
