Wonder and Runnin' in the San Juan Mtns. of Colorado.....

Leaving this saturday morning for the San Juan Mts.

It's getting down to the wire on the checklist of things to have done. Onboard air is finally up and running again, alignment done, tranny cooler installed, tranny flushed, temp gauge installed, driving lights wired up, picked up the car trailer yesterday, maps downloaded and merged this morning, stopping by the Costco for bulk items this afternoon, picking up two new tires tomorrow, need to mount tires friday and hopefully install my new bumper friday evening all to leave at 4am saturday.

There are a lot of people heading up the the Silverton area over the next month, hope everyone posts pics.

Now that I have been there for myself I can relate to the pictures. Pretty darned brave pushing over that pass with sloppy snow and ice on the trail. My hat is off to you guys!

Who knew......when looking up from Telluride....what we would find at the Summit!

breaker breaker...how 'boutcha Jeff.....tracks! you gotta make tracks for us to Ouray! There goes fearless Jeff heading over the next ledge looking for the way home!

look to the left....see my head sticking up wondering why Jeff stopped>?! Snowy Ledge!....and NO Tracks to show us the way to Ouray!!!!! We had to walk the trail to find it in the almost darkness! ("Sliding forward and sideways on three wheels on a snowy steep leadge is a funny feeling".....right Brian?!!)
