Stage 1 - COMPLETE

So, I guess at this point, Stage 1 is pretty much complete, time to take it for a shake down run... this year was plentiful with snow...

Came by and visited a buddy at his warehouse, he is building his Yota crawler for upcoming snowrun in Oregon.

with the current setup (future tunning in the plan) - front tire got off the ground 31 inches and rear got off 34 inches., I guess its normal that way...

Looks awesome and I'm jealous. May have missed it but what gears are you running? How does it drive at hwy speeds?

Gears I've used are 5.13, although a lot of suggestions were to go with 4.88, I'm running under 3k RPMs at 70, drives great. 70 is about as high as I want to drive anything of these dimensions., I'm in no rush

They are out there, just search insurance auctions online and you'll find your way. No license required in most cases, just an annual fee for accessing their listings as well as auction fees to be paid after you bid.

Great build. It's nice to see someone doing something more than the usual bolt on options. How is your Accutune coilover set up doing? They're local to me, and I've been considering their kit to replace my AEV set up.

Accutune is great, very happy with whats been done from the start, as well as their support has been awesome.

I've shipped mine for tune up/check up, and asked to revalve to more firm setting - so far everything is well worth the money spent.
