Nice find. My last THREE used vehicles have come from the SLC area - seems odd but cool at the same time. I do love SLC.

We did find one sweet example, but it was just too much for what we need it for.

I am considering going IFS to get a newer example. A 1995 would be a cool truck too. I just want it to be cherry.

Lucky! I couldn't stop looking at it. I wasn't surprised to see it sold so fast. When I have some money I really want to find a truck just like that and do a solid axle conversion expo build. If you ever want to sell it, let me know. Did you find it on your own or because I posted the link to it? :victory:

I'm glad you bought it, are you going to leave it stock?

Alright, here is a shortbed. I know you need a longbed, but I figured things change and plans re-arrange so it may be a possibility. Especially since these are so hard to find in good condition. When I am looking for something to buy like this, I am all about compromise. Example; years ago I was looking for a Honda Shadow Aero 1100. (big cruiser type motorcycle). I knew exactly what I wanted and ended up with an xr600r dirt bike... Then eventually got the Aero... :)

Also, somebody else may buy it. http://yuma.craigslist.org/cto/2343478215.html

First truck I ever owned was an 85 Red Extra Cab SR5 with EFI 22R, tan interior with power windows and sunroof. I owned it in 86 and would love to but that truck back today as I'm shopping for my son's Hunter first truck. He will be 16 in Sept. and it would be so cool to have him the same vehicle to cut his overlanding/wheeling teeth on, good luck with your search Scott!!:ylsmoke:

Yeah, I have to admit I saw it in your post. I've been looking for a rust free version for some time. I'll probably leave it stock for awhile. I work for a Toyota Dealer in the parts department so I'm doing a major tune up and freshing it a bit. Other than that, no SAS for now. I'm just using it for beach fishing and house projects. Thanks for spoting it!

Not the year you're looking for, but a long bed and very nicely equipt. Decent price too. Best looking model year IMO...

The Wildernest is just icing on the cake.
