WTB Hannibal Awning

I'm in the same boat as you matloik... got 2 different emails stating that a US distributor would contact me haven't heard anything. Hannibal is going to lose a lot of prospective customers with their lack of communication.

No luck. At one point I received an email response as I was inquiring about a US distributor. The email said someone would contact me. And things went silent after that. I plan to get one from CVT (http://www.cascadiatents.com/Awnings.htm?m=87&s=585&&id=107). It's the same as branded by ARB also.

Sorry to hear that; I can understand going with CVT. I take it you've also looked at Tepui and/or FrontRunner? FrontRunner's prices on their awnings and tents appear to quite competitive.

Tepui and Frontrunner look to be other companies that brands that same awning. CVT is close to me, in Bend, OR. Cheers.

I do really like the beefiness of the Hannibal; and that it does not need poles and stake lines. I might have a welder/fab guy I know make something like the Hannibal awning arms that the other awning can sit on.

I'd recommend looking into the Eezi Awn awnings. Not as beefy as the Hannibal but m is still freestanding if you so choose. There are also optional legs you can deploy in higher winds. Build quality is better than CVT/ARB and those other Chinese made awnings at not much more of a price premium.
