WTB: Jeep CJ-7 Frame

The rear frame on my buddies CJ-7 had rotted apart due to the bad patch job by previous owner. Does anyone have full frame or the rear section they have laying around? Local would be preferred (Orlando area)

Thanks,
Freddie

He would be miles ahead to look for a yj frame. More options for upgrades than the cj frame and the tub can be made to fit with minimal work. Axles wouldn't transfer over, but stock yj axles are cheap. Plus the frames came from the factory with better rust inhibitors.

I would concur The YJ Frame is far superior than any CJ Frame. I had to fish plate every CJ frame I ever had but the YJ's stood up to all the abuse I could dish out.

Plus there are a ton of them out there. While your at it you may want to swap over the 4.0L engine huge improvement over the 4.2

I used an aftermarket frame made by AFW to build one of my old Jeeps. YJ frame is a good suggestion though. That's probably what I would do.
