WTB: Mobile 2M Rig

Looking for a quality 2M rig- mobile, not hand-held, and I suppose that it would be an added bonus if it was a complete setup including antenna, mount, etc. I'm looking specifically for one of these 4 rigs: (Icom IC-V8000, Icom IC-2200H, Yaesu FT-1802M/E, or Yaesu FT-2800M). However if you have something else comparable, let me know, as I may be interested. Thought I'd throw this out there in case some of you 2M guys are thinking about stepping up to a dual band sometime in the near future.

I've had really good luck with www.hamcity.com and they have the 2800 for just under 120. And I've had really good luck with my mag mount Wilson 2MTR antenna. For around $50 shipped it is a nice antenna, mount, and cable package. I've found buying used is usually almost as expensive as new in the ham world. I can't figure out why.

My observation also on the Wilson 2meter mag mount ant. I now have it as a backup.

I bought it in a pinch when I needed it. And I was impressed when I was hitting repeaters in Santa Barbara the first time I used it - 80 miles from where I was transmitting/receiving and over Los Padres NF. Less than $50 too.

Also wanted to add that I bought my Yaesu 2800 from Hamcity.
Much cheaper than HRO = Ham Radio Outlet when you comparison shop.
Bought the Wilson 2mtr ant at Walcott CB.

We have the 2800m also and not looking to sell, but it's a great radio for strictly 2meter. Bought ours at HRO here locally.

Thanks to all who responded- especially hillbillyjake who set me up with a FT-2800M for a great price! Now that I have a radio on the way, I need an antenna, mount, and coax...

...So, anyone out there upgrade from 2m to dual band, and have a spare 2m antenna to sell? Or, if you have a spare dual band antenna to sell, that would work too, since at some point in the next year I'll likely go to a dual band radio to have greater access to repeaters (if I find that I actually use the HAM radio).

and a new Larsen 48" whip antenna (black) - all you would need is a cable and Hood/lip mount for it.

(NMO =Premium Motorola-style 3/4” hole mount)
