Xantrex RS3000 refurb

I have a fairly substantial house battery system, a major component of which is my Xantrex RS3000 pure sine wave inverter charger. When I'm in "storage mode" (i.e. parked at my house) I keep shore power connected to keep the batteries topped off and keep the interior temperature above freezing. (It just makes life easier).

I don't fully winterize because my camper is also my escape pod - if something happens to power or other utilities we can retreat to the relative comfort of the camper until services are restored.

I noticed that my RS3000 was squealing hard (still functioning though) and determined that the continuous duty electronics ventilation fan on the bottom of the 75 pound unit had reach end of life. $8.63 replacement delivered from amazon today and back in business for the next 10 years (I hope)

As is often the case, the mechanical component was the cause of the failure.
