Yaesu dealers?

I'm looking to get a Yaesu 7800 or 8800 and was wondering where you all have purchased your radios and if you had a prefered dealer? Ideally I'd like to find a used one to save a few $$...

For new:
www.aesham.com
www.gigaparts.com
www.universal-radio.com
www.hamcity.com (formerly known as Jun's Electronics)

Used Yaesu 7800/8800 rigs pop up for sale on here once in a while.

X2 for new. (e-bay watch out some charge $70 for shipping)

If you want a straight up 2 meter radio try this.
http://hamcity.com/Detail.aspx?ID=321

The down side is you don't have the dual band like a 7800, and the 8800 gives cross band repete so you can become a mobile repeter station.
like so http://www.cvarc.org/tech/crossband.html

Edit there was a used 7800 that just sold on ebay for like $25 less than new. Get new, as you get a warranty

STAY way from new gear on ebay. Its usually more expensive and many of the out of country gear is not US spec'ed units.

Just about any stateside dealer will have yaesu kenwood and icom gear.

Ebay. Like Atlanta airport, sooner or later everything in the world passes through it.

I would avoid ebay for most "new" radio's. Many of the radio's on ebay are priced over what other dealers have them at. Many of out units are non-US models that will not be serviced by US service centers. There are more than enough state side dealers with good prices to choose from to save a couple of dollars. Right now there are several 7800 on ebay around $204, but they want $70 to ship out of hong kong. New from Universial is $259 plus approx $15 shipping. Same basic price, one is serviceable and tuned for US band, one is not serviceable and is tuned for non-use band.
