Your favorite AT tire for first-gen Tacoma.

I have General at 285/75-16 on my Tacoma. Only tire in that size i could fins that wasn't load range E. So far (200 miles), I like them.

Great tire for Az. Not the best if you see much rain or snow once you get near 50% wear.

I'm going with ST Maxxs next time on my 100 series. Can't think of a reason they wouldn't be great on a Taco. I love them on my Dodge.

St maxx is also a great choice! I never had any wet traction/snow issues with the toyos

Did about 25K on BFG MTs before I had to ditch them. I Got a great deal on discount tire's ebay page ($100 coupon) and ended up with 255/75r17 cooper AT3s for $515 shipped. Barely put any miles on them yet, but they're so much quieter and more well mannered on the road/wet. Grip the rock better too. If price and weight are a consideration I'd check them out.

Thanks 4xdog, those do look pretty good! My ideal size would be 33x10.5x15, but I'd have to buy new wheels. You've pushed me towards the pizza cutters though.
