Homemade bumpers?

Has anyone fabricated there own bumper? Can you post pictures if you did?

My front bumper on my Disco2 is cracking. I don't have the money for a winch bumper. I was thinking of making a steel bumper with recovery points, and maybe a receiver. I would like to see what others have done.

Hi Peter,
Seeing as you have the cardboard templates it would be easy to get the individual sections cut out for self assembly.
perhaps produce a bumper kit.

I don't know your skill but I wouldn't diminish so quickly. It's not that hard...

I've done two front bumpers and one rear and I'm no where near being a good fabricator.

Just go slow and don't try and build something overly fancy.
