Howdy,

In leu of not incurring credit card debt, can anyone recommend any resources for renting camera equipment? I may need an assortment (or upgraded) lenses and speedlight for an upcoming project.

I've used lensrental.com as well. They are ok, pretty average, very convenient. I usually just go to my local camera shop and get what I need. The rates are usually with in a few bucks and no shipping. I've used lensrentals.com when out on tours and business trips where you only need something for a weekend. I'd check around town and see what you can find. If not both are good options.

If you really are in Denton, TX you might give Arlington Camera a call. They are a great local shop in Arlington, TX that I try to support. I’ve rented from them before.
