New general grabbers on the xj

I like 'em!

Nice agressive AT tread. (very similar to a BFG style tread)

Smallish sidebiter sidewall treatment

Good treadwear warranty, and purchased with full certs/road hazard for $650.00 OTD with $130.00 in rebates, soo $520.00 total.

225-75r16's.

I'll see about getting some pics up soon. :)

After a couple days of my 40 mile roundtrip commute, I can say they're definitely a nice, smooth, quiet ride. Very stable.

I was looking at those earlier this year but they were on back order...went with the Duratrac instead.

Yup, it was between these and the duratrac's for me. Your Goodyear's are a great tire, IMO.

I found just as many good reviews about these as I did the duratrac's. And the same number (very small amount) of complaints which all seemed to stem from installer error or a manufacturing blem.

In the end, I couldn't pass up the savings I got on these tires, so we'll see how they do. :)

I've had these. They are surprisingly good offroad as well as the great on road manners you mention. Great selection
