Have they started work on the walls you said would attach to the awning?
I want two awnings, one for the back and one for the driver side. Then instead of walls on the adjacent sides make a roof piece that attaches where the walls would. at the wide end it would need more support, so put another pole in the middle, a bit lower than the standard awning end pole and stake it down. It would then act as a roof and gutter for the two main awnings.
Then you could still put walls up on the two outside parts and have a huge covered area even larger than the bat wing.
They only bad thing about these is you have to have the tent top at least open to attach, zip on, the awnings. But the two latches are easy to open. and the torsion bar pulls the top up enough to get the job done without attaching the handle.
