Storage Options for Extended Cab Trucks

I'm curious to see if anyone has any built/bought ideas for in-cab storage for a extended cab truck. I love looking through all the drawer and rack systems but having a Tacoma with the bed unusable for such a setup, I wanna see if anyone has done anything similar. Most of my trips are tent camping in Ocotillo or Glamis for the weekend, and driving the truck while out there. Its my DD and I typically carry the essentials daily (tie downs, jumpers, tow strap, inverter, flashlights) stashed in the stock cubbys, and have a medium ammo can full of fluids and other gear that gets strapped in the bed on trips, but would like more secure storage away from potential theft. Any ideas for buildable or securable storage would be great!

I bought a DUHA ( http://www.du-ha.com ) and I love it. Cannot believe how much space that it has once things are organized and in one place. Can even get a lock for the back seat to make it more secure.

If I was going to add any more storage, and did not have passengers, I would build a box for the floor that comes up to the height of the seat and paint it black so it blend in to the floor.

I prefer to have my gear (or as much of it as possible) in the cab. Only other thing that I would consider doing is putting a topper on the back.

My 2004 Ram 2500 with the crew cab has little storage cubbies built in underneath the back seat. In here I keep a rinky dink handheld CB radio (to supplement the 2m ham radio on the dash) and a tarp, some ratchet straps and bungees, tow strap, fire extinguisher, that sort of stuff.

Then the center of my front seat also has some built in storage underneath where I store a mag light, first aid kit, small survival kit, and a bottle of white gas.

x2 on the DuHa. There is a fair bit of room under the Chevy seat but one emergency application of the brakes and everything is up against the back of the front seats (well... My truck is the WT- Work Truck trim so I have the vinyl/rubber flooring, not carpet). The DuHa is pretty voluminous. The cost is pretty steep but the tooling vs how few they probably sell is the reason.

X2 on the sliding. I also have the vinyl floor, love for cleaning, hate for sliding. I got mine DuHa used and it looked like new, knowing how good it is would have bought new and paid the price without a problem.

They dont make one for the Tacoma, but I could probably make something similar that fits my truck, in which case I would probably do a deck kinda like this, except with storage instead since I already have a sub. keeps the usable and get more safe storage
