LR3 Airbag Failures?

Hey guys, somewhere on Expo, I saw a photo of a LR3/LR4 that was stuck in the desert with deflated airbags. Not trying to be a smart *** but trying to find the pic to show a friend with an LR3.... Any help?

This seems not to be a challenge with the 07 and later models ... more so in the earlier models. I am not sure if they improved the bags or if they improved protection for the bags ... anyone else know?

There was a question raised in a different forum about LR3 airbag failures. I felt it best to isolate this request out of the "post pictures of our land rover" section.

No doubt, but a pic of a low-rider Rover stuck in the desert seems to have burned its image into my mind. I'm not knocking the vehicle, but I want him to be aware of the possibility. The image helps.

I don't recall seeing any pics of blown springs on LR3, however I might have missed them.

I DO recall a few pictures of INTETIONALLY dropped LR3s. The owner used diagnostic tools to drop to the bumpstops to keep the truck stable and less bouncy when using the roof-top-tent.

I recall a photo of an LR3 in Death Valley that sheared off a rear carrier bolt, but it did not have any airbag failures. I only know of two airbag failures in an extensive knowledge base of LR3 triva and websurfing. One was due to the front upper a-arm wearing through the outer metal housing of the air bag assembly. Clearly other issues happening to have the a-arm rub through it. Probably an extreme outcome of having badly worn bushings and oversized tires.

The other one occurred in Morocco during an extended desert race, similar to the Dakar.

There have been many air suspension related issues over the past few years, but not many at all with the actual airbag or shocks.
