

I wrote a post on my blog recently about waterproofing the stock turn signal lights found on some ARB bumpers. They always rust out after the first water crossing. I looked for a way to waterproof them while maintaining easy bulb replacement. It was like trying to find the Northwest Passage. I'm not sure it exists. I ordered new lights (see post for link) and was able to waterproof them with silicone sealant but the sealant has to be redone when you change the bulb. Still, I think the bulb will last longer in a dry housing than a rusted one.
Has anyone else tackled this problem? What was your solution? Here's mine:
