M416 Help Needed

I am new to this forum and glad to have found it. I just purchased a 1967 M416 trailer to convert. I have it torn apart except for the axle and need to know what size the wheel nut is. Does anyone have that information, I have not been able to find it.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks
:)

Off the top of my head I am thinking the same size as an old CJ3 axle so any of the sites that sell those parts will have the size. There are plenty of the sites. I will try and look it up later.

Have fun and let the building and the photos begin.

Thank you for the feedback. I have reviewed your build. Your trailer looks great. How do you like the powder coated frame? I have not decided if I am going to powder coat or simply spray on bed liner. Hope to have pics up soon.

If I were doing it again, I would still sandblast but probably just spray it myself as it would be easier to touch up.

There are several excellent threads on 416's going right now. A ton of innovative and creative ideas that are free for the stealing. I would read as many as you can so that you can save yourself from pitfalls that you may be thinking about that others have already tried.
