Original owner. No expense spared. Oil changes, major services, etc have all been completed with authorized Toyota mechanics and documented since 2005.

Major 90,000 mile service was completed summer 2012 - timing chain inspected and confirmed in excellent condition. Truck runs like a top and the only reason we are selling it is bc we just purchased a brand new 2013 Tacoma.

Over 16K was invested into the build of this vehicle over the 8 years we've owned it and why we justify the price above blue book value. This Tacoma turns a lot of heads and gets a lot of positive comments. We would like to see it go to a good home. I am in no hurry to sell and pretty firm on my price.

Although this truck was built with a big "off-road" look we don't do anything more than moderate dirt track or washboard roads with our Four Wheel Camper. We built this truck to explore the backcountry and has NEVER done any rock crawling or been stuck in the mud. We're not big into the Moab rock crawling scene as evident of the lack of trail rash and broken 4x4 parts on the vehicle. The winch has never been used to recover ourselves and instead has saved other poor souls stuck without help. Everything was installed professionally, neatly, and with attention to detail. No hack jobs!

This is a detailed list of the major components that have been added to the vehicle:

• 6" Procomp coil overs up front -- still under warranty
• Old Man Emu Dakar HD Leaf Springs (with their extra leaf)
• Icon Vehicle Dynamics remote reservoir shocks in the rear -- new fall 2012. Custom made just for us!
• New style ARB front bumper with fog lights
• Aluminess Rear bumper with dual swing outs -- one for full size spare and second for cargo box
• Aluminess rear bumper spacer so a pop-up camper can be installed in the bed (not in photos)
• Aux back-up lights wired into reverse installed in rear bumper
• 20" Rigid LED light bar -- used as an aux light and is wired into a factory switch for a clean look
• Warn 9.5XP winch
• 5 - 17" ATX Mojave Teflon Wheels
• 5 -- 35" Toyo Open Country Mud Terrain's with approx 5,000 miles on them
• Demello sliders with wrinkle powder coat finish
• Skid plates up front and over gas tank
• Custom 40 gallon gas tank! allowing the truck 600+mile range. In place of stock tank and not an aux tank. Uses all factory sending unit, pick up, pump, and passes emission test. The truck doesn't even know its there aside from the price at the pump ;-)
• TRD cat-back exhaust
• Re-geared to 4.88 ratio -- still under warranty
• ARB air compressor mounted cleanly under the hood -- wired to another factory switch to keep a factory look
• Optima Red Top Battery with Military terminals
• Safari Snorkel
• Custom Rear Diff Breather
• Factory front diff and transfer case breathers installed.
• 2 sets of Yakima landing pads mounted to roof of truck cab. We used to have a sungtop topper that had 2 Yakima load bars and worked great to have a 3rd load bar on the truck cab for long items such as a canoe or even having a cargo rack mounted above the cab and a second cargo box mounted in the rear.
• Truck bed is wired with a 30Amp connection via 10gwire to an Attwood style plug. This is great for accessories like a FWC, Flippac, or even something simple like an Engle fridge.
• All paper work from the original sales sticker to the owner's manuals to all 3 sets of spare keys.

The BAD

• Colorado (cracked) windshield -- we are not replacing it so it is on the new owner.
• Mild hail damage to hood and roof -- exposed out of the car port. You can replace the hood for 250 before paint and never filed an insurance claim bc our deductible made it cost prohibitive. I've lived with it for years and have never cared -- most people never see it either.
• There is nothing actually wrong but feel inclined to educate the buyer; Good ole Toyota 6 speed manual transmission -- works great but you need to understand some of the nuances of owing a manual Tacoma and how the transmission can be slow to respond when they are cold. There is a TON of info on the subject in forums such as Tacoma World, Tacoma Territory or Expedition Portal if you want to do research on your own. I had the throw out bearing replaced at 65k miles under warranty and Toyota has confirmed that she is good to go. Having said all this, my brand new 2013 Tacoma is still another 6 speed manual - I love 'em and believe they are reliable.
• The Four Wheel Camper is not for sale! We also sold the topper and is just an empty truck bed.

This is a link to a bunch of additional photos I have of the vehicle: https://www.dropbox.com/sh/wfo2hp0tqh8sbq4/rF_LU_dhze

Please send inquires via PM and I will respond to serious buyers.

The truck is sitting in storage in my shop and is nice and clean. Bring your mechanic with you and check it out for yourself!

Test drives will be scheduled to actual serious buyers at my discretion. No offense, but if you're some 21 year old kid (which I am not) don't waste my time unless you have cash in hand.

Awesome truck at an even better price!!!!!:Wow1:
If someone was in the market for a Tacoma it would be a no brainer to hop on this bad boy.

For the records don't count out the 'young punks.' I've been buying cars since I was 15 and our money is as green as yours :)
(I know what you mean in regards to your comments, just giving you a hard time)

Timing belt? You mean the chain needed to be changed out at 90k? That's…odd. Did it break or stretch over the course of 90k?

haha. I hear you. Just trying to scare off the people that aren't serious.

Holly brain fart. My wife and I both had our 90k services completed at the same time. We replaced the belt on her Hylander and I'm mixing them up. Editing that part of my ad now. Good catch and thanks!
